WEB
Club: Welcome EveryBody (WEB) Club
WEB is a leadership club for 8th grade students with the aim of making a welcoming and inclusive school community. WEB Leaders lead school tours and orientation groups for new Bell students, and introduce Bell to 5th graders from our local feeder schools. Students can apply to be WEB leaders at the end of their 7th grade year.

Club: Gawad Kalinga GK Club

Mabuhay at cheers! My name is Michael Lapid and I am the teacher/advisor at Bell Middle School for our GK Club, Gawad Kalinga which means “to give care”. GK club’s mission is to improve the quality of life in the community that we live in, locally and abroad. The GK club exercises principals of the non-profit organization Gawad Kalinga from the Philippines. They create GK Villages to provide and build sustainable communities for those in poverty, therefore GK club commits and participates in doing community service. GK club also strives to build self-esteems for our students who will become model citizens and future leaders in the community.
Garden Club
Advisor: Mr. Redfield
Students can tend to the Bell Garden, learn how to plant seeds, and learn about the therapeutic hobby of gardening.
Coding Club
Advisor: Ms. Rose
Meets Monday and Thursday during first lunch and Thursday after school.
Students will learn how to code.
Sports
We are excited that our students in grades 6-8 will now have the opportunity to take part in organized team sports this fall, thanks to an expansion of the San Diego Unified School District's new middle school athletics program.
